About FMEC
Welcome to FMEC English web-site!!
We are a speaking community based in Funabashi area.
Every Friday night 19:30-21:00, we meet at Funabashi Chuo Kominkan near Funabashi station.
Many generations, many nationalities, the number of 40-50 people are out there.
Everyone is very friendly and all English abilities are catered for from beginner to advanced.
Fee and Entry
- Native and native level non-Japanese English speakers
For all the native English speakers and native level English speaker out there, both the event itself and a decent dinner following are free of charge!
Please sign up by way of Meetup if you are thinking to join our event.
- Other members
You can join this meeting only 500 JPY per time. We will correct money at the last 15 minutes of the meeting.

We are having a meeting at Funabashi Chuo Kominkan at every Friday 19:30～21:00. (Please check the shedule)

Course
There are three courses as follows, and you can join one of them according to your English skills.
As for Intermediate and Advanced course, we only use English to process the meeting.
1. Lesson and free talk for beginners
2. Free talk for Intermediate
3. Discussion for the Advanced
Other Activities
Besides regular meeting on Fridays, we also have some special events such as barbeque, Cherry-blossom viewing party, Takoyaki party on each season.
